Testimonials
Dan was instrumental in getting our monitoring system up and running. He had an extremely professional approach to an ongoing issue, applying his extensive knowledge base to to problem, not letting the time of day or distance stand in his way. I am pleased to have had the opportunity to work with Dan and would happily have him back onboard at any time
I’ve worked with Dan on a few projects now. Always pleasant to have contact with, because he knows what is being talked about. He thinks with you about the solution and the implementation of the product.
Deborah and Dan made the entire process of purchasing, installing and commissioning our tender monitor system incredibly smooth. Deborah handled the logistics flawlessly, while Dan Rogers patiently addressed all our questions, both before and after the installation. Initially, we were concerned about the complexity of the setup, but Dan’s guidance and support made the process effortless. Thanks to their expertise, we now rely on them incase we have any issues and are consulting on the future development of products which we will be excited to work along side them with their new company.
Dan was extremely helpful in helping us sort out our previous tender monitoring system on our 32ft Intrepid. He was always available for a call or advice with the install and use of the system and even arranged new parts for us in rapid time.
He is always available, responsive, and willing to go the extra mile to address any questions or concerns. His deep knowledge of yacht software solutions, combined with his kind and approachable demeanor, made every interaction easy and productive.
What truly sets Dan apart is his genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. He not only understands the technical aspects of the industry but also takes the time to ensure that his clients feel supported and valued throughout the entire process.
I highly recommend Dr. Dan Rogers to anyone in need of yacht software solutions. His expertise, reliability, and exceptional customer service make him a standout professional in the industry.
The install was straightforward — around an hour, very simple. Dan was on hand if needed, which helped.
Day to day, it just works. We can see movement, battery, bilge, and live distance from the mothership, so if anything changes, we know straight away. We leave it running all the time. Both on tow and at rest. Alerts are quick and reliable — no guesswork like you get with basic trackers.
We’ve stayed in touch with Deborah and Dan over the past year. Updates have been simple, and it’s been good to see it develop. We’ve recommended it to other captains.”
The two-way monitoring system continuously reports key information including tow status, battery condition, bilge activity and the tender’s position relative to the mothership, using its own dedicated communications network rather than relying solely on cellular coverage or AIS. This provides confidence that any developing issue would be identified immediately, even in remote operating areas.
From a practical standpoint, the installation was straightforward, the interface is simple to use, and after the initial setup the system quietly does its job in the background. Having completed a 900nm passage with it in operation, we are very happy with its performance and see it as another valuable layer of safety when towing, particularly during longer passages and night operations. It has given us greater confidence in our towing procedures and is a system we are pleased to have onboard.
